It's sure not the same heading to the pits and not seeing that #2 on the corner there with a long line of kids stacked up.

Best wishes to Skip. Great Guy. I've had the pleasure of knowing him since he drove Robuck's 12. Always the kids favorite. Get well Buddy.

I can't make it to the auction they are having but I will x-nay a couple of nights out and dinner with the ol' woman and send Skip via the NSCHoF a hundred bucks and just donate it.
I don't need to bid on anything ...(got a house full of trinkets and souvenirs .... i.e. junk per: ol' woman) hopefully others that can't make the auction can send something to Skip too ... absolutely a fan and young fan favorite for 20 years or close to it.
Praying Skip will win this 'race' and be good as new soon.

All our thoughts and prayers go out to Skip, and family. Some of the greatest people ever.
Who do I contact about the auction, we have something to donate.

When is the auction? I heard them talking about it last night. I have a left sideboard with no damage from his 2005 #2 car I would be willing to donate to the auction. Should I just contact the HoF?
Beat that evil disease Skip, we are all thinking about you and your family!

Best wishes to you Skip. What a great racer you have been and I'm sure you'll be able to come back when you get well if you want. Had a similer diagnosis 6 years ago. Will keep you and your family in my prayers. Jim Moughan Jr.

The auction will be held on our second-floor at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 11. Friends of Skip Jackson who wish to bring in a donation for the auction can leave their items at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum anytime before 5:00 PM on Friday, June 10th. (Cash donations to assist Skip Jackson's family can also be brought in, or mailed to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, care of 'SKIP JACKSON').
The Saturday, June 11th auction will begin at 12:00 Noon on the museum's second-floor and is open to the public. All proceeds from the 'Friends of Skip Jackson Auction' will go to assist the Jackson family with expenses.

I hope to be there in time for the auction. If not I'll drop a donation off when I do arrive at the track.
Section H said it, it's just not the same without the #2 sitting in turn 4 of the pits each week when I walk in.

Sorry to read this news on here. I enjoyed having Jackson spend a year racing here in central Pennsylvania with Zemco and Shawn Keen about a decade ago.

So sad to hear the news. My family's thoughts and prayers are there for Skip to recover from this horrible disease. Stay strong Skip, and fight fight fight.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

I have NEVER met a more polite, caring human being, let alone driver. Skip and his family are what a racing family emulates, they are the best of the best, from Mom on down. All the very best during this tough time. I will send some photo stuff to the Hall of Fame and hopefully it will bring him some coin. Prayers are with you ol' mate, Take It Easy....
