Go test a car at a track not a public road where you can kill someone. Going 80 some miles an hour over the speed limit in a 40 mph something zone. Really? Stupid Glad the cops caught Kyle Busch

I bet if Earnhardt would have been doing 80 in a 40 he would have just been testing the car out and meaning no harm = People just love to hate Kyle Busch but the man can drive!

80 in a 40 is not the issue. The issue is he was going 80 over the speed limit. He was clocked at around 125. Now that is just plain stupid no matter who you are.

Kyle Busch's need for speed evidently extends beyond the race track.
The Sprint Cup Series star was ticketed for careless and reckless driving after deputies clocked him doing 128 mph in a 45 mph zone Tuesday near Troutman, N.C., according to the Statesville Record and Landmark.
Citing local police, the newspaper reported that the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement team of the Iredell County Sheriff's Dept. stopped a yellow Lexus sports car traveling nearly three times the posted speed limit. Busch was cited for careless and reckless driving and speeding, according to the newspaper.
Busch, who drives the No. 18 car for Joe Gibbs Racing, has won twice this season on NASCAR's premier series and 11 times across all three national tours.
According to laws in North Carolina, reckless driving is a misdemeanor that requires a mandatory court appearance. A conviction can bring the loss of up to four points on a driver's license, suspension of a license for up to 12 months, and fines of up to $1,000.
Tuesday evening, Busch issued a statement through his Kyle Busch Motorsports team.
"Today I received a traffic citation in Iredell County. I was test driving a new sports car and I got carried away. I went beyond the speed I should have been going on a public road. I apologize to the public, my fans, sponsors, and race teams for my lack of judgment. I take responsibility for my actions and I can assure you that something like this will never happen again. I thank the Iredell County Sheriff's Department and all law enforcement for the hard work they do every day to protect the public and to enforce the laws in a fair and equitable manner."

The only thing Kyle Busch did wrong was release a stupid phony statement that obviously wasn't
written by him. We have all driven way over the speed limit having fun. He should of used better
judgement but it could be worse way worse. For instance, NFL, MLB and NBA athletes are in the
news almost daily for drugs, rape, steroids, OWI's, domestic abuse, etc. bottom line, he was just
messing around.

AHMEN. Stupid? Yes But we've all been there done that. May or may not have been caught, but everyone who did it was still dumb at that point. He'll sign some autographs and display a few cars and move along. Just like the rest of you haters should do

Big deal. I'd feel much safer with him speeding around my neigborhood than all these twits driving around texting and talking on their cell phone.

Everyone hates a winner...............
He was smart enough to give another dirt track driver a shot in NASCAR when he signed WoO late model champion Josh Richards last week to drive for him at Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR truck series.

The original post here was "Irresponsible Busch". Fact;
TROUTMAN, N.C. – A day after NASCAR driver Kyle Busch was ticketed for speeding 128 mph on a two-lane, 45 mph road, nearby residents were incensed that the millionaire race car driver may have put them at risk and somehow avoided going to jail.
I fail to see the need of all this bullshit debate about Kyle Busch on here. Who cares who it was cought driving at these speeds? It was just plain irresponsible on his part and a lack of respect for everyone in this neigborhood and on the roadways where he was driving. Just because he is a "nascar driver" doesnt make him a "safer driver" on these roads where the speeds are posted 45mph!

Irresponsible, yes, but listening to the general public talk about driving is comical. I run just enough grassroots SCCA events and have been through EVO driving school several times to know that the average driver is more dangerous at any speed. If you have 3 beers and get pulled over for having a taillight out you go to jail. If you run into someone sober at 55mph and kill everyone in the car, well, now that's just unfortunate. The driving laws in this country are a joke, along with the standards for cars on the road. I have a feeling my m3 and my dad's heavily modified Mustang are safer on the highway at 100mph than my old integra with 200k+ miles is at 50mph, but the Integra doesn't draw the ire of the cops, I have a better chance of getting pulled over going 50 in an m3 than I do going 100 in that old death trap. Makes a lot of sense, but then again, ignorance is indeed, bliss.

How many of the people condemning Bush have watched their buddies knock back a few at the track and then drive home?
