I made a trip to Fallon last weekend after having not been there for 5-6 years, to see the improvements that have been made to the track. Man did they change that place! It is now a HIGH BANK (like 30-35 degrees) 1/4 mile bullring that looks like your racing in a bowl. The surface is smooth like Fernley, but looks to have a little more clay content. It held moisture better, and only needed water once during the night. The fast line early was the middle to the top of the track, and then the bottom started coming in. Never slicked off to bad, started taking rubber late in the program. Not to much dust, all in all looks like it will be a lot of fun for the drivers. See you there...
