CONCORD, N.C. – On Tuesday, Jeff Gordon will be a guest on a very special edition of "WingedNation" exclusively on www.MotorRacingNetwork.com . Daryn Pittman and Jason Sides also will join Kendra Jacobs and Steve Post on the program streamed live at 12:30 p.m. on the site.
Gordon is a four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion who made his start in sprint car racing back in the late 1980's. Gordon will share some stories from his sprint car days, his thoughts about some of the top sprint car drivers, his current interest in sprint car racing, and even getting fired from a ride – replaced by a current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief.
Pittman scored the $10,000 victory on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway in Pennsylvania. It was the first night of the heated "Pennsylvania Posse versus the World of Outlaws" rivalry. Pittman, a native of Oklahoma is a former World of Outlaws driver, currently racing in the Keystone State for car owner Mike Heffner.
Sides carried the World of Outlaws banner with a third-place run at "the Grove" on Friday. He has two wins this season and has moved forward to fourth in the season-long point standings. Not only will Sides talk about his season-to-date, but also will preview upcoming races this weekend in Attica, Ohio and Lake Odessa (I-96 Speedway), Michigan.
