Post race decision found Cory Kruseman DQ'd for loss of muffler, ( on the white flag lap). Murphy's law at work. Rule no. 5.

I think rule #5 needs to be given more clarity. As it is written it states " VRA approved mufflers are mandatory and must meet the current requirements. Cars may not continue to run if they lose a muffler during competition."

I think to most of us, losing a muffler means coming off the car. Having the muffler come loose and still being attached to the car does not make it lost. If it is a sound issue, then disqualify him for being too loud.

It fell off coming out of turn 4 to take the white flag so no, it wasn't loose. It came off.

He bounced off the wall and ironically enough got into Cory (and broke Cory's muffler) and busted the front end.
