due to the recent scrambling of the mod classes in oklahoma ( a-mods, b-mods, e-mods, southernsport mods, northern sport mods, mods, etc) i am going to start a new class.....G-MODS! all cars will be required to run 24 inch or larger wheels with spinners, 6 or more bass speakers, and the driver must sit low and at a reclined angle...NO hydraulics, and no on board weapons allowed....

Will we be required to run an aftermarket chrome grille in the Escalade style or is this all optional? Is there a minimum dB rule on the stereo system? And you might have covered this on your facebook page, but will there be a set radio frequency that we have to set the stereos to at the track?

radios must be set to a hip-hop channel. no dBa level but "systems" must be louder than headers measured @ 100 feet. grilles are required on car AND driver. drivers suits will be fireproof but must be 2 peice to allow 6-8 inches of boxer shorts to be exposed ("sagging"wink. crew chief on each car must wear baggy clothes at ALL times . no crimping of ball cap bills is allowed.

Can you beleive I actually saw 22"s on an old 1980's farm truck down here?! Complete with a flatbed and a balespike.LOL

Seems one guy needed tires and wheels, and his cousin had 8 lug dubs waiting for the Hummer he never could afford!

At a pawn shop in Ardmore the other day , they had a set of 24-26 " tires and wheels ready to go. All I could think of was 'what a waste of metal and rubber'.

Don't forget the small refrigerator next to the driver.

And of course, if the crew doesn't wear baggy pants, it's a dollar (wait. with inflation, $10) fine.

Seriously, I think the decline in racing is caused in part by way too many classes.

Well I was all set to build one until the last rule about no on board weapons.

That's just taking all the fun out of it right there!

I think that has a huge part of it myself.

What about weight? I think there should be a mandoatory 2&1/2 lbs of gold, platinum, and/or silver chains, medallions, and/or earrings required on the driver and the crew must have half what the driver has and be able to swap with the driver if two drivers have the same "bling"! Lol!! Also on the drivers "grill" what is the mandatory metal? Gold, silver, platinum?

And with each feature win of the season, an extra pound is added to each member of the team, or their substitute. Those who win a lot of races, will need a chiropractor for a sponsor.

Sounds like it will be another modified class that is not going to be affordable to race in!!! LOL!!! Can you imagine how much a new Snoop Dog chassis will cost.

price was no object when creating this class. one guy has one so in order for him to be legal we are creating a class. new idea huh? drivers grilles must be titaniun with no less than 10 visible diamonds, checked following heats and features. crew chiefs and hos must remain in pit area at all times.

As far as the bling is concerned, I can see it now at the rules meeting. Someone will surely get up and say "Well, you don't HAVE to have it".

Then there will be the guy that is allowed to run with cubic zirconias, and causes an uproar in the pit area.

An aluminum and cubic zarconian grills should be penalized with 1/2 lb extra "bling" on ears only! And the snoop dog chassis I saw had an MSRP of $150,000 but after negotiating we were able to settle on a case of chips, three dozen doughnuts, and a barrel of cheese puffs!! He was really zoned out and when I showed up there was smoke rolling out of all four doors when him and his posse got out of his Lincoln. Very agreeable fella though. =>

No helmets, but drivers will have the option of sporting a dew rag or a pre-approved baseball cap with the bill almost flat. However, if you wear the baseball hat, the bill must be pointed straight back at all times. In addition, all people in the pit will be subject to the same requirements as to headware. There will be no exceptions. Flava Flave wall clock on a chain will be optional.

if a car is deemed illegal, we will just start a new class for it. for example, if someone has cubic zirconia instead of diamonds, we will create "G"cz mods...i f this deal goes big i can hear the announcer now....." driving the eminem, swisher sweets, snoop dogg chassis, powered by bentley..........number 71, the hog wagon, mister JayDizzle Porter!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first Gmod race was held at Tulsa Speedway last weekend. we had 40 cars show up but there was a problem.....when the drivers found out that it was a dirt/weeds track they refused to run. didnt want to mess up the rims...so they just played music, waxed and polished, then some guys they knew showed up and started shooting......it alll went to hell from there so i am going to regroup and see what happens.....JD Porter and Brian Satterwhite were the only drivers willing to get their cars on the track and it appeared they had tractor or baling machine wheels on their rides(thus missing the true spirit of the G-MOD). gotta check the legality of that.....
