SAMMY SWINDELL, JASON MEYERS AND RICH VLECK ON WINGED NATION

CONCORD, N.C. -- Tuesday's "Winged Nation" could be considered "going to school" for sprint car fans. Sammy Swindell, Jason Meyers and Rich Vleck were guests on the show – co-hosted by Kendra Jacobs and Steve Post – exclusively on MotorRacingNetwork.com.

Here is a link to this week's show:

Swindell held court on a variety of topics including rain outs, his son Kevin, old guys and provided an update on his plans for this year. He is having a strong season in the World of Outlaws scoring three wins and is currently in the top-five in points.

Meyers is the reigning World of Outlaws sprint car series champion who – like Swindell – has a very hands-on approach to his racing. He shared his view on the new model of team ownership and the challenges of being a single-car team on the tour.

Vleck oversees public relations for the Patriot Sprint Tour which races in the Northeast. He also is the track announce at Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, N.Y. where the Patriot group will tri-sanction a 360 sprint car race with the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) and the United Racing Company (URC).

"Winged Nation" covers winged sprint car racing across America each week streamed live at 12:30 Eastern and then available on www.MotorRacingNetwork.com throughout the week. Jacobs is the daughter of sprint car legend Kenny Jacobs and a former Miss Knoxville Nationals. Post is a broadcaster with MRN Radio and passionate dirt track racing fan.
