Great race - great facility and wicked fast track! Was a bit concerned as it was fairly dry and slick early but they did a little maintenance before the A and it was VERY racy. Schatz 18th to 2nd and boss Smoke in da house and behind the wheel. We had a great time and hope they return next year.

Agree! But why wait till next year. Bring them back for a fall date and two times a year in the future. Having just one support class to fill in the gaps made the program move along very well. Races were

complete about 10:30. Concessions had good food at reasonable prices and how about the $1 beer? If I have a complaint at all it is the long line at the main concession. For events of this size, they need more concession areas. For a midweek makeup race the stands were almost full, leaving me to believe had it not been rescheduled, the place would have been overflowing. My hats off to everyone that made it happen. They did an outstanding job and the teams delivered one of the best show's I've seen.

The line at the main concessions was indeed a bit long - we hit it right after hotlaps and the line was long but it moved well and had only about a 5 minute wait. During intermission we walked down to souvenir trailer row and that line was a lot longer ... of course that was "refreshment prime time". There was another booth on the North just inside the entrance selling burgers and BBQ (I think) that wasn't too crowded and a booth selling pizza that was fairly open as well.

Overall I think they handled the very large crowd very well. All of the employees were very courteous with big smiles and I was impressed with the track and the clean facilities. And I agree that it would be nice if they added a date later this year or two next year - that would likely be up to SLS....

I was there filming last night, but due to me getting home at 4AM and then having to work today I have not been able to put anything together just yet. I will have a highlight up on my site tonight! Awsome race, great place. Really enjoyed it!

Michael - have you talked with Brian Dunlap at WoO or to SPEED? I know they will want highlights as Brian asked me if I knew anyone that would be there shooting. Guessing that was your gear at the top of the stands? I was going to say something last night but each time I went by (during breaks) nobody was there.

That was a good show at a real nice facility. As soon as we pulled up in the parking lot they had a tractor asking us if we needed a ride to the Grandstands. Friendly folks. I hope they have another show this fall and they had a good crowd for a Tuesday night. Lucas Wolfe had them covered until the left rear let go with a couple of laps left

Sorry to change the subject about this post but I just had to point out the complete ignorance of the that last statement. "COME ON MAN give some props to the real drivers". I mean are you kidding me? REAL DRIVERS? Tony Stewart has done more than anyone else in that race COMBINED short of Steve Kinser. Lets just take a look at what he has done, since he is not a REAL driver.

2 Time Sprint Cup Champion

IRL Champion

USAC Triple Crown Winner

IROC Champion

WKA National Champion

2 Time Chili bowl Champion

2 Time Brickyard Champion

And on and on....................

I will say this, if Stewart started running strictly WoO and other sprint shows the rest of the year he would be your 2012 WoO Champion. He could actually do it in both Sprint and Late Models if the schedule allowed.
