Who is at fault in the crash between the 4b and 17b racing for the lead? Enquiring minds want to know.

Thanks to Mr. Gunner!

Pretty hard to tell from that camera angle! Initial reaction is that the passing car moved up, but could just as easily been Balog moving down. I suspect the number 11 car coming to a stop in front of them might have also been a factor.
Anyway, thanks for posting the video. It was very well done.
Looking forward to going down to Knoxville this weekend to see my two favorite groups of racers go at it. Hope a lot of the IRA makes it down!
Gunner, thanks to you as well for your informative past posts about the IRA. Keep up the good work.

I was standing on the backstretch wall, and I dont think the 11 car slowing in front of them had anything to do with it.

On another thread 'strangewings' mentioned to me he would have been glad to trade places with me last Saturday night (him taking my seat at Knoxville and me taking his at Beaver Dam.)
After seeing the hi-lights of this race and what we sat thru ....If I'd took him up on that offer .... I could get arrested for 'defrauding a race fan.'
This race had more passing for the lead & win in 1 lap (let alone what was going on behind the leaders) than we saw in 35 (Knoxville 360A added to the 410A)
Thanks for posting.....
p.s. Last weekend was an aberration at Knoxville .......... hopefully

Excellent job on the video. Thank you
The boys sure tore up a lot of stuff. Tough way to start out the year.
From what I hear there are only about six IRA guys going to Knoxville this weekend.

From that angle, 1 moved up, 1 moved down. I see 50/50 fault (or no fault-however you look at it)

Balog, Biertzer, Neitzel, Uttech, Mock, Spitz? Reinke will too but I really don't count him as an IRA car.

I am guess around 10 IRA guys heading south. I am sure T J Leudtke will go since he is running for rookie of the year.

ha ur so funny! too bad if you put the knoxville boys on a little bullring where money does not matter the IRA boys would def stand strong. I love how you bash racers for the one thing that they cannot change...their funds.
You are so nice as to bash the very same people who put a show on for you...

thanks for the complement. that's what I'm saying. why go? why schedule there? they can barely afford to race around here let alone going down to knoxville and getting the you know what kicked out of them. It's stupid because only a few are going down there anyway. I mean the only 2 guys that even have a chance at a top 10 would be Reinke or Balog. Scott Young finished like 5th down there a couple of years ago and Whitney had fast time. Neither of them are classified IRA anyway. Someone said Reinke isn't IRA anymore either.
and give me a break on the bulllring thing. when those guys showed up at Charter or Lancaster or Plymouth they dominate. the only times I can remember them not winning is at Lancaster a few years ago when Joe Roe held of Jason Solwold and at Plymouth when Wayne Johnson got wrecked in lapped IRA traffic. Joe Roe was good, remember?

I could really care less what organization they're from. I as a sprint car fan am happy, thankful, that a driver or organization chose to drive the miles to get to the track that they do not normally race at.
The more cars, the more racing.
Whether it's for 1st or 5th, or 9th and at the end of the pack I like to see good racing.
Why bash something that we all "love" to support? Do not forget the big picture here guys.
Keep It Real
