Any knowledge of sanction fees for WoO, USAC, All-Stars, ASCS for 1 and 2 day events?

Without a race sponsor, what does a promoter need to make to break even?

Interesting to see a mix of tracks around the country that are corporate owned, city owned, family owned, and some are leased by organizations for special events.

I see a corporate owned track lay dormat with the exception of a modified race once a year. Yet, it is on the outskirts of a metro area of 6.3 million. Is the profit margin so small that the owners find it not appealing to host major organizations?

Jeff

I don't have the answers but it's a good question. Texas Motor Speedway's dirt track is excellent, but the only race they have (that I'm aware of) is the big modified race there annually. Why not host, and promote the hell out of a big WoO, USAC, or even an ASCS Nat'l race?
