While it won't be all said and done until Saturday after the service (and even after that it won't be easy), the sun shining and the warmth is making it a bit easier to deal with the day. This is kind of a break for me as almost everything is taken care of that absolutely needs to be.

I guess I have lived a sheltered life as I never knew all the things loved ones had to do when their family member passes, especially when they are on social security and are on deeds to lands and mineral rights.

I cannot tell you how much all of your posts here on tidbits, on facebook, the private emails and the texts have meant too me. Makes me tear up but those were all needed as a bit of comfort so to speak.

Enough of my blabbering and personal trauma. I will try to spend the rest of the day getting things caught up here on tidbits that has to do with racing to get my mind off the other until tonight. The nights are the hardest as things slow down and I have time to reflect - not able to get any sleep.

Thank you all again.

David for those who have lost our mothers we can relate big time.

Mine will be gone 3 years in September and even this morning I looked at her picture and said hello.

That hurt never goes away but the good memories seem to help shine light in the dark. Try to remember the happy times with her.

Sorry for your loss and remember you have friends.
