Thunder on the High Banks "Round 2" Set for May 14 at LoneStar Speedway
KILGORE, TX (4/28/11) by DarinShort.com. After an exciting night of racing with the running of Thunder on the High Banks at LoneStar Speedway on April 23rd, “Round 2” is now set for Saturday May 14th.
A full night of racing will be on tap, with the Southern Thunder Sprints, Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and Factory Stocks.
Joining the mix for the first time in 2011 will be the Dirt Stock division.
Dirt Stock division rules and payback are listed on the homepage of the www.LoneStarSpeedway.com website. The Dirt Stocks have been added to six additional LoneStar Speedway race nights, as long as the division maintains a minimum of 14 cars on race night. There is no driver registration fee required for this division for the remainder of the 2011 race season and posted rules will be strictly enforced.
Another solid field of STS Sprint Cars will be on hand, and you can expect to see drivers such as “Round 1” winner Neil McCarl; as well as Koty Adams, Josh Hawkins, Derek Weaver, Cody Robbins, Billy Page, Russell Enright and many more battle it out.
The Modifieds will compete for $500 to win, Limited Modifieds will race for $400 to win and Factory Stocks will be gunning for $200 to win. The complete points division purses and rules are also posted at the track website.
