Forgive me if this has been adressed before in these pages.
We (Global Speedway Tours in Australia) are running a tour to Florida in Feb 2012 so that we can coincide the Daytona 500 with the racing at Volusia for the Outlaws & Allstars and Ocala for USAC.
We had everything published with the itinerary but now realize that the 500 has been put back a week to Feb 26th.
Does anyone have any knowledge yet whether the Outlaws, Allstars and USAC also intend to adjust their dates to coincide with this NASCAR change?

I would recommed emailing USAC for confirmation as they promoted the Ocala races this year but I believe they indicated they were switching their dates to match the Daytona 500 in 2012.

I'd email or write to the respective organizations to get their 2012 schedules in writing...you have enough time to correspond with them to adjust the dates of your trip. I'd prefer to get info from the source, so to speak, rather than deal with rumors on here.......

Thanks for the replies guys. It was always my intention to write to the various sanctioning bodies as well.
Except I didn't have to. A very diligent Kyle Luetters, the PR Coordinator at the World of Outlaws, saw the post and e-mailed me to confirm their February Florida dates have been put back a week.
The power of HoseHeads huh? Now just awaiting USAC's reply.

With the Outlaws pushed back a week, maybe it will actually be warm in Florida for a change!!
