Yeah, you can watch Chad Blonde in that winged sprint car set a new Bristol record at 145 mph. That's the winged sprint car Ford paid to have a Blue Oval Decal on both sides, even though it had a brand new Chevy motor according to Steve Graham of Gaerte Engines.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Who?
That would be Jason Blonde. Jason, IMO is a much better driver than Chad. I have seen both of them grow up, and Jason is just smoother behind the wheel. I am sure Jason has many more wins, even if you just count dirt wins.

1). Driver was Jason Blonde, Chad Cousin.
2). Ford didnt pay a dime. We have 3 Ford Engines as well.
3). I think the Gaerte engines were well displayed. It was a chevy, but after the event Jason
Switched to MOPARs for the 2011 Must See Season built by Gaerte.
4). We paid all our expenses and BMS gave us a $477 crystal trophy. We were just glad to
be part of the event and ask for and got nothing.

They neglected to mention the 11 yr old record they were attempting to break was on dirt with 22 degree banking, but seemed to go about their business thinking they were comparible. Mentioned Sammy a couple times, but not even a video clip? At least we still know what REAL racecars can do.

Savage you make lots of great points.
But it was only a 30 minute show and when you take out commercials it was like 22 minutes, lets look for a one hour show later this year or next year.
I think you have to hand it to Brian Clauson that broke the record without a wing at about the same weight sammy was running #1350 lbs.
But they did mention that we were at #1600 pounds and we did weight #1650 about 300 more pounds.
I just hope that we can do this again with the new Gaerte Mopar. Maybe we can drop the off the 300 lbs as we were looking for about 12.9 with #1600 lbs.
I really hope they open this up and have at least 10 Cars in several classes.
I would like to see some WOO drivers there and get sammy back to retake the record.
Might even be cool if they can do this again in the fall race at Bristol. Team Biobased USA - Suellen Wilshe.
Classes:
360 ASCS Winged
410 Open Winged
360 USAC Wingless
410 USAC Wingless
Super Modifieds
Open Wheel Modifieds
Any other classes to suggest..

Seems to me the object was to see who could go around the place the fastest, period. Looks like a winged sprinter on pavement did it.

This going back and forth on this record deal is just plain old silly... Sammy has a record that will not ever be broken, because that track no longer exists!... It's the same thing that Billy Boat has the track record at Ascot, set at the last sprint car race held there before it closed. It was the only 17 second lap ever ran there at 17.958... It too will never be broken "because that track no longer exists".
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

You are correct, the back and forth on this makes no sense. They wanted to see if anyone could beat sammy's all time track record. Someone did. End of story.

My point was than no one can ever beat those records, because neither one of those tracks still exists today. Ascot has been closed, and although Bristol is still there, it's in no way the same track Sammy ran on.
One of the reasons, and a big one, that they had to take some of the banking out for the Outlaw show was because they couldn't see what was ahead of them going into the turns. The wing was blocking their vision at that angle, because they had to look up instead of mostly straight ahead going into a turn. Think about it.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Chad Blonde had a wing on his car. You think he could see any easier?
You keep talking about it not being the same track. That is not the point. The point is they wanted to see if Sammy's all time record could be broken. It was. You can't say no one will ever have a chance to try to go faster at the track in a dirt configuration because you never know what Bruton will do. One thing we do know, a non winged car can't compete on dirt or pavement.

You think he could see any easier?... Of couse he could, the car was not tilted sideways as much; and it was Jason not Chad.

Really.... "I think you have to hand it to Brian Clauson that broke the record without a wing at about the same weight sammy was running #1350 lbs"

So what kind of car holds the all time record now? Seems to me the guy who set it (sorry I got the names mixed up) did it with a car that had been damaged and hastily repaired just in time to have a few minutes on the track. Face it, the new all time track record was just established. All the cry baby complaining and excuse making isn't going to change it. To try to say this record doesn't count or is fake like some are doing shows just how childish people can be. I don't believe a winged pavement sprinter was ever on the track before Sammy set his record, so now we have a comparison for both dirt and pavement. you can claim a winged dirt sprinter can go faster at Bristol on dirt, but that would be like claiming one could at Daytona, until it happens it is just talk.

Of couse Jason now holds the new all time record at Bristol, but a non wing car is the fastest sprint car in the world.
Newton, Iowa…….Shane Hmiel of Pleasant Garden, N.C. is now the fastest Sprint car driver in the world! Hmiel qualified his Rotondo Weirich/Benic Enterprises Beast/ITI Performance special Saturday at 146.444, breaking the previous record of 146.145 set four years ago by Darren Hagen
This should get you jumping up and down..LOL and shouting but but but.

So now that you have been beaten to a pulp you have to change the subject to a different track?
One that is almost twice as big?
And it only went close to two MPH faster?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When was the last time a winged sprinter, either dirt or pavement was timed at Newton?
Also by your previous standards it doesn't count because it was not on dirt.
My elephant's dick is bigger than your poodle's dick, but it is the same thing. LOLOLOLOLOL
You are pathetic.

I've only said that no record was beaten because the track was different, not that a record wasn't set!... I just put the record from Iowa out there just to watch you jump up and down with one of your usual childish rants, and because of your lame statement that "One thing we do know, a non winged car can't compete on dirt or pavement".
You are so predictable, and you put all the but but buts all in a nice little row too, after I said, "This should get you jumping up and down..LOL and shouting but but but."
Thanks for not letting me down.
There was never any question in most reasonable people's minds that they would go faster than Sammy on the asphalt track at Bristol, even a non wing car did!! The only surprise was that the supers didn't go faster than they did.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

You can blabber all you want, the point is you now have to try to change the game to feed your own sense of superiority. The thing is, i don't really care if a winged car or a non winged car goes faster somewhere. That seems to be more important to you. You were the one who jumped when I said a non winged car couldn't compete. LOL. That was enough to get you to start changing the track and the whole subject. I don't have to make excuses about the track being dirt or not dirt. It makes no difference to me. I am just stating what happened regarding the original topic of the all time speed record being set at Bristol.
You say no record was beaten because the track was different. Well then no record was beaten by Sammy because the track was different.
The thing is, the all time track record was just set, and that is something you can't argue with.
You can say the dirt record is one speed and the pavement record is another and that would be just fine, but you just can't seem to bring yourself to admit the all time record has been set on pavement and it beat the previous all time record that just happened to be set on dirt.
Then you go and try to compare records on a totally different track, one that hasn't even had the same kind of car on it?
I made no buts about it, you are the one who b-b-butted that a non winged sprinter was the fastest sprinter at Newton. All i did was ask you if there was something to compare it to there. You still haven't responded to that.
Still it really makes no difference now that you have admitted that Sammy's record doesn't mean anything because it was done on a "different" track. Thanks for taking yourself out of the game. It's been fun.
One that note, and like Joe Pesci said to the judge after tearing a witness apart in "My Cousin Vinnie", "I have no more use for this guy."
