They said they are going to reschedule but looking at their schedule I dont see that happening unless its through the week sometime and that wont work. Guess we wont see them until August.

Don't understand why they can't try and run tomorrow... Do they have anything planned for tomorrow, if not whats the worse that could happen possible washout again...Guess I'll have to wait til they hit Tunica at the end of May for the Outlaws...

Unless they reschedule, doesn't the outlaws still collect their sanction fees?

Nice call promoters... Just drove by Pevley its sunny and dry... Okay it rained yesterday but I think they called the race way too early... With a little work and track prep the track could've been race ready...Yes its a little chilly but WTF, wear some clothes, drink some adult beverages, and cheer on your favorite driver... How the hell could you get cold...Okay headed to casinos, and local bars here in St. Louis... Pevely you could've had my money, now I'll just give it to some Redneck Bar I can find... Cheers....

What you couldn't see from the interstate was the lower parking lot/pit area which was full of standing water when the decision was made at noon. Temperature was 44 and wind was blowing 20-30mph. Tough to attract anyone but die-hards, and unfortunately promotors lose money when ONLY the "die-hards" attend.

some of us fans understand. yes it sucked. Me and the kids are bummed but there was no way enough people were going to show with that forecast. I knew it was doomed early in the week. now we will wait and go to Knoxville for not as exciting racing but its racing.

Hey Johnny...a buddy of mine and myself were wondering couldnt they have rescheduled the race for today(sunday). Its an absolutely beautiful day here and temperatures are going to hit 70?? Ive heard of the Outlaws postponing races rained out on saturday for sunday afternoon and I believe it wouldve worked out great! Just a thought.

The only possible date I see for the Outlaws that might work is May 29th(Memorial Day weekend)...they race at Charlotte, NC. on the 27th then have 2 open dates before they head to Tunica, Ms. on the 30th(weird I know to race on the monday night before everyone heads back to work). Pevely Mo. is only about 4 and half hours from Tunica so that could very well work if the people at I-55 agree. I would think you might have MORE people attend the race on the 29th than they wouldve yesterday(warmer weather, people off of work monday). Just a thought...

Personally I don't see this race getting rescheduled. It was rained out two years ago and not rescheduled, flooded out in July of 08 and not rescheduled (race was replaced with a date at The Ditch) and four years ago it was cancelled due to very cold conditions and not rescheduled.

Pevely only like to run the Outlaws on Saturday nights, so I don't look for this one to get rescheduled.

Because you and your buddy would probably make up half the crowd. Where has it ever been advertised that they might race today? Most of the time, even when a raindate is advertised it is still a money losing deal because for the most part, only die hard fans and some people with reserved tickets show up. Trying to do something like that with less than a days notice and no advertising would be financial suicide.

you expect the flooding of the pit area/parking lot to go down in 24 hrs?
