"Tim Shaffer also got punished for not being affiliated with either."......good point
"He took himself out of the deal when he said, and I quote "I am not an Outlaw" Nobody is getting hosed. Rules are Rules."
I remember him saying that. So what are the rules anyway? What defines an "Outlaw"?
Really impractical for me to go, but still really tempted.....

Sammy maybe a True Outlaw , but Sammay was not a Sanctioned W.O.O driver. The deal was put together for The Top 5 Sanctioned W.o.O drivers and the Top 5 P.A. posse members from Last years National Open. If you're not either you're not even considered for this race.

since every driver who competes in an outlaw event has to purchase an outlaw license to the tune of $100+ wouldn't that technically make them all outlaws for those races? we can still claim posse but what's with sammy's deal. he's 6th in points this year and finished 16th last year. are they still on that Mean 15 kick? if that's the case here's some other guys that aren't outlaws.

Sammy himself said he was not an Outlaw in Victory Lane at last years Open. You wanna argue with the guy & tell 'em he is?

Pittman told Bruce at Knoxville that he's Posse and people argue that all the time.
From my understanding, unless you run every single race on the tour, you are not an WoO driver. You are just running an outlaw-style schedule, ironically enough.
It would be cool to for there to be a cumalative points series for every 410 race in the country. Everywhere you race gets you points.

The race is a reward for those following the Outlaws full time. It makes no sense to include part timers (though if you did, it would definitely increase the odds the Outlaw side wins)
