New race added to the May 13-14 events at Williams Grove. A 12-lap race with the top five finishing WoO drivers and the top five finishing Posse drivers following the A-main on May 14. The WoO drivers will line up on one side, the Posse drivers on the other. The lane choice will be determined by the winner of the A-main. There's an $11,000 purse plus a sterling silver trophy that will go to the office at either Williams Grove or the World of Outlaws. Click here to read more.

The inside line will certainly be the place to be since a cushion is usually done by the consy. Man I wish the WoO would come to the Port. The last time there was proper moisture for a WoO show at the Grove was the one Freddie won from 40th or whatever.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Given the racing that's occurred in Central PA this year (90% of the winners coming from front row) the myth that Outlaw racing is somehow not as exciting is starting to become as supportable as the Goodyear tire myth.

What a great idea. Should be exciting to watch.
Would be exciting if Silver Dollar put something similar together from the Gold Cup.
Even Knoxville...

So basically this is Dewease vs Meyers...after 50+ cars get 2 laps each for TT's, 4 heats, C Main, B Main, Dash, and the A, I doubt there will be anything left in the track.

I thought they only get 1 lap with over 40 cars? Oh, right...this is the Grove.

I REALLY wish I could go to this one.... ( I live in Colorado) but one thing: WoO says, "The Top Five World of Outlaws finishers and the Top Five Pennsylvania
Posse finishers from last fall's National Open are the contenders in the
race".... so where's Sammy, who won?!? (made the trip last fall)
Looks like he's getting hosed for being a true "outlaw", rather than an official "Outlaw"???

Yep, if memory serves me correct, Tim Shaffer also got punished for not being affiliated with either.

He took himself out of the deal when he said, and I quote "I am not an Outlaw" Nobody is getting hosed. Rules are Rules.

Punished? I think not...it's an "us vs. them" event. Posse vs. Outlaws! You're either one or the other or your not involved.

"Tim Shaffer also got punished for not being affiliated with either."......good point
"He took himself out of the deal when he said, and I quote "I am not an Outlaw" Nobody is getting hosed. Rules are Rules."
I remember him saying that. So what are the rules anyway? What defines an "Outlaw"?
Really impractical for me to go, but still really tempted.....
