It is getting that time of year!! Couple more weeks and we will be racing in Knoxville! Who are the top 3 going to be this year in points for 410? Who is going to have a break out year at the famed half mile?
1. Lasoski
2. Mccarl
3. Droud Jr.
Break out of the year will be Dustin Selvage.
your thoughts?

1. McCarl. Think he'll be tough to beat with a combined budget with Vermeer.
2. Lasoski. Nearly unbeatable at Knoxville if he has the funding.
3. Brown. Hard to bet against these top 3 if they run the entire season.
Breakouts: Both Selvage and Danny Heskin stepping up out of the 360 class. Selvage has been smooth as glass in a 360 and Heskin improves and learns more and more each year.
Good to see a nice field of rookies in all classes

1) Brown (if he races here all year) unfortunately. no one has seemed to slow him down much.
2)Mccarl, unfortunatley, with VerMeer money he will be tough.
3) Droud. hope to see him do good and give them a run for their money.
?) lasoski. Not sure what to expect from him at all. he knows Knoxville better than anyone but is his age catching up to him???
Break out of the year) Davey Heskin. Looked great during the nationals and starting to get things going.
410 rookie of the year) Selvage. looked very good last year in the 360 and has continued to get better.

Brown barely beat Droud last year and I hear Droud has a new Kistler that is like the one that won the Nationals last year. Look out for Droud. If they have the equipment nobody can outrun McCarl and Lasoski at Knoxville weekly but they both have come off of tough years. I say Droud, McCarl and Dude in any order. It will be fun to watch no matter what.

Wondering if age is catching up to the DUDE? Now that is almost laughable right there. If he does end up running for full points, look for Danny to have his 9th Knoxville Title all but locked up by the Nationals.

1. Danny Lasoski...I'm not a big fan, but if he runs all year look for the title by the nationals. As well as being the favorite to win the nationals.
2. Dusty Zomer...I'm assuming he will be here all year and came on like a rocket at the end of the year.
3. Terry McCarl/Brian Brown...Whichever driver is more committed and doesn't leave for better paying races should take this spot
Note: The second and third place drivers could sneak in there and get several wins making it possible for a consistant guy like Don Droud to sneak up. Also, Selvage walks away with Rookie of the Year.

I don't think I could put a top 3 together at this point there is just too many great drivers who are/could be going for the championship. It's going to be a crazy year at Knoxville and I can't wait!

Although he has no results to show for it, Lynton has been running in PA for a good month or so. I'm sure he'll be ready come Knoxville time.
I'll go:
Lasoski

Lasoski
McCarl
Brian Brown
If those three show up every week the rest of the field is running for 4th in the points.
I'd sure like to see the McCarl/Lasoski show at Huset's every week but not really expecting it.
