Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...
More Victorville radiation
Fuel rods got exposed
Containment pool boiled over
Laptop exploded
We are running out of time, what's the plan?

Amazing, outstanding article. You have hit the nail squarely on the head. These promoters and USAC need to stop fighting like high school girls and get together to save 410 Sprint Car Racing in Southern California. We are quickly running out of time for my favorite sport. If they don't get together and work together, I hate to see what next season holds....if anything.

Very nice. Just bringing on some heat as gently as possible. I think that one of the unsung heros is the the Hoosier tire rep. Perhaps he can be persuaded to intervene.

YADDA, YADDA, YADDA. LOVE POLITICS BUT ONLY THE POLITICS OF THE CIVIC TYPE. I AM FAST LOSING INTEREST IN 410 RACING DOWN HERE. WILL STILL HIT PERRIS ONCE A MONTH, BUT AS LONG AS I HAVE JIMMY'S JOINT, WELL NUFF SAID. MY MAIN INTEREST IS NOW THEM WING BOYS UP NORTH, KING O THE WEST AND CIVIL WAR AND THOSE TACO BRAVO WATSONVILLE SHOES. FASTER, SQUIRRELIER, MORE INTENSE, FANS MORE PASSIONATE, WHY THEM BOYS DO'NT EVER LIFT. TULARE NEXT WEEK FOR KING OF THE WEST BOYS, TK, BUD AND BRENT KAEDING, ALLARD, LARSON, MURPHY, TARLTON, MCMANN, SUGGS ET AL, ALL NEW HEROES OF MINE.

The reason they don't lift is that they still have their training wheels(wings) on.

Mike, just read your article "Looking for a Hero". Damn you are a good writer! On top of that, you are 100% right! Yes, I made some mistakes and got carried away. I have had to train myself at all this. 6 years ago, I never even considered being a Promoter, now I am involved deep. I appreciate the nice comments about leadership. I do my best, and try and have everyones best interest in mind. I just need everyone to realize, I am just one of them. I get fired up too. Sometimes a little to passionate. I will do my best to remember the position I am in!
Thanks for the reality check. Hope you enjoyed the race last Saturday night at Santa Maria! I sure did!

Had an awesome time, Chris.
I love that track.
I do have a burning question which may start a whole new firestorm.
In your opinion, where is the best BBQ in Santa Maria (or outlying areas)?

Not true. Jocko's does have ribs and tri-tip. I live in Santa Maria. I say Shaws is damn fine choice as well as the Swiss. Jockos is definitely a must if you've never been before. You need to call ahead, because it gets packed!
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

I am temporarily on the Central Coast for the next 3-4 months. I am looking forward to catching some action at Santa Maria. Used to go there all the time when we lived in Morro Bay. Can't wait to see what Chris Kearns has done with the place.
Jocko's is a MUST!
