In regards to the WoO show Merced in California Friday night, I am pretty sure he at least hit everyone on the track, some more than once, so I was wondering if he made it a complete sweep for the evening by tagging the pace-car also. Im not so sure Cody is ready to be out on the road with the WoO guys yet, as he is even make Kraig Kinser look good, which isnt really any sort of compliment.

I beleive Cody finished ahead of Kraig. Merced is a tiny, tight short track and alot of drivers were bouncing off each other and the back stretch wall....We will see what happens at Calistoga.
Go Sammy!!!!
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

Whats up with the Darrah haters! Seems like a good kid to me just trying to get into the big time.

Now Im not totally sticking up for this guy but I do agree with him somewhat. I do agree that I dont think Darrah belongs out with the Outlaws and I wouldve rather seen a more distinguished driver get the ride(i.e. Shane Stewart, Jac Haudenschild, etc.) but we'll see how far Darrah can improve and see if he has a ride with KKR come next year.

Give the kid a chance. KKR must have seen something in him to give him a ride. Time will tell but until then best of luck to Cody and crew. Why keep rerunning the same old ones, Stewart had a chance and landed in the pill draw series.

Cody seems to have a lot of talent and also seems very personable when I spoke with him. He needs some laps and will make a lot of mistakes I am sure but I think he is a future star. Checkered, pill draw series, that's hilarious.

The only thing Kahne sees in Darrah is his looks. They make a great couple, though. Darrah is great in PA, not anywhere else. Sorry Darrah fans, he is just a good local racer that hit the lottery with Kasey.

To say Stewart "had his shot", is like saying Steve Kinser had his shot at NASCAR back in 94. Stewart was destined to fail in the Beef Packers car, back then nobody could make that car go to the front. Look at all the drvers that tried and failed. Last season Stewart raced one 410 race, the Knoxville Nationals, and had a podium finish. He would have been 2nd in one more lap as Donnie had already blown up! Stewart is in his prime right now.

Where were you folks when Cody went from 13th to 2nd at Volusia and had a tire go down with 3 laps left, also had many top five finishes in his first races with a brand new crew chief.
I'd be more than happy to see Shane Stewart on the trail, a fine person.
...rumor has it he may run Attica next week if the weather is good here in northern Ohio...

Maybe it's this way not saying it's a fact but wasn't kasey hired as a rookie and wild Bill was the mentor?? you don't think this may be what is the plan here too Joey at the top and showing Cody the ropes for the long haul with KKR Cody has talent and great feed back not just at local either.
fordracing 88 them looks may have alot to do too!!! money is what spins the wheel and Cody is a very marketable peice speaks well also
laps is all they need and patience its all new to Cody and the team as they are all new, you get Cody to feel confortable and he will show you talent

Everyone seems to forget he took essentially an entire year off last year (not by choice either). Even though he has had alot of races this year, you dont get back to 100% just like that.
As far as making others look good (Kraig Kinser was mentioned), I suppose hes making them look good by being ahead of them in the points standings right? Or how about Dollansky, hes been doing this for years too. Yet hes higher than him.
People need to back off of him, its his first full season on the road, hes top 10 in points after racing many tracks he has never been to, how can anyone say hes doing a horrible job.

I cant believe someone made a jab at Shane Stewart. Did you keep up with the week of Knoxville last year at all? He is 1 of 3 drivers? now that have made the amain at nationals for 10 years or more...
as far as Darrah... he is a rookie who is probably here to stay. So get use to it.

I often think that there are better choices for rides than the person in that ride... but it ain't my money!
The Big 3 weren't the Big 3 when they started. They took some lumps and wrecked some cars along the way. Heck... a couple of them are still racing and winning AND wrecking on occasion.
I like the old saying about if you don't wreck a few times a year that you aren't trying hard enough. We all get complacent in our job, whatever it may be, and forget where the ragged edge is sometimes. Champion sprint car drivers are no different, my friends.
Darrah has been on the road for what... a whole month now? He couldn't even make 1 month on the road without people on here knocking him every which way.
Can we let him run a year before we make bold statements? ROOKIE. He's just a kid. Geez!
You may think he wasn't ready for the road... but what more did he need to accomplish locally? How many WoO wins do Andy Gregg, Toni Lutar, Ellenberger, etc. have? Better bash away on them! They don't have the resources of Kahne but they aren't blowing away the WoO! Better knock everyone that doesn't win every night!
He's a talented, marketable kid. Let him learn. I bet it's a short curve. He hasn't seen these tracks... give him a minute!
