The guy who restored a yellow Bowers Coal Inc. 28D Gambler car, that I ran in 1982, is looking for a victory lane photo.
Although my first WoO win wasn't until 1983, I did win some other races in 1982 and our hope is that someone has a photo.
Dave Argabright and I are releasing a new expanded edition of my book "Still Wide Open", along with a limited collectors edition that will have additional photos. I recently went through everything I have gathering new photos for the collectors edition and the only victory lane shot I have is with the red car in 1983 which is in the original book.
If anyone out there has a victory lane photo of the yellow Bowers Coal 28D Gambler car from 1982, please post your information on how we can get in touch with you.

Just got back home from Vegas and see you need the photo I took of you wiping the sweat off your face years ago. Let me find it and how do you want me to get it to you. I think I only have the main one, or can I scan and send it to you.

Brad...I got my diecast Bowers 28D car...sometime when I think about it I will put it in the trailer and hope to run into you at Attica or Fremont...would like to get it autographed if you don't mind.

Thanks for the replies from everyone but we still haven't found an actual victory lane shot with checkered flag or trophy.
I found a newspaper clipping and photo from when I won the Doug Stambaugh Memorial at Lincoln Speedway in...what I think was 1982. The photo credit was Dan and Linda Fennell but we really need the date to narrow down the search for a copy of that, or any other photo from that day. If anyone knows the date, or even the month, would help.
If there are any other photographers who think they have a shot from that day please let us know.
I also won the Ohio Nationals at, KC Raceway, which was Atomic Speedway in 1982. If anyone would have a shot from that night, please let us know.
