Tuesday's "Winged Nation" covered a bit of everything in the world of sprint car racing. Here is the link to the show: http://www.motorracingnetwork.com/Media-Center/Audio/Winged-Nation.aspx .
Paul McMahon, driver of the Roth Motorsports entry on the World of Outlaws tour, discussed a variety of topics from his relationship with Kasey Kahne to teaching his son to drive a car. He also previewed the upcoming races for the tour in California and actually broke some news about the schedule on the show.
Dave Argabright, one of the sport's top writers, joined Kendra Jacobs and Steve Post on the program as well. He covered everything from the end of National Speed Sport News to sprint car racing to having lunch with people and their cell phones.
Rounding out the lively show was Jim Chianos from the state of Pennsylvania. Chianos and his racing friends are part of the "Beer Hill Gang", who regularly attends races at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. Chianos shared the history and activities of the group of fans who are possibly the most passionate in all of sprint car racing.
The show also covered an "idiot" in California; seven winners in seven races in the "Keystone State", the future of Danny "The Dude" Lasoski along with results, updated points and a preview of the upcoming weekend of racing.
Jacobs is the daughter of sprint car legend Kenny Jacobs and was Miss Knoxville Nationals in 1996. Post is a broadcaster with MRN Radio and a passionate follower of all short track racing.
"Winged Nation" is streamed live each Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Eastern and available throughout the rest of the week at MotorRacingNetwork.com .
