Does anyone know if there is any video of the sat.nite race?
I saw somewhere on the board there was a stream, is it posted anywhere?
I could not make it sat. and would love to see what happened.
Thank You in advance.

That was a great race.
What was Ricky's problem?
David was clearly faster than him.
Ricky gave him no room.
What did Super think was going to happen?
Spencer almost stepped on his pecker with 7 laps to go, but almost doesn't count.
If that was your first sprint car race or not, y'all need to come down that hill and watch the Boys get it on at the P.A.S.
I promise you will not be disappointed.
Cant wait until sat.
See you at the P.A.S.
Thanks again for the link.

A couple of notes -
1. How exactly was Rickie supposed to know that "David was clearly faster"? There are no mirrors and apparently you've never sat in one of these cars to know that you really can't see all that much out of them. Probably the first time Rickie found out that Cardey was there was when Cardey hit him.
2. Rickie did give room, after he was hit. As to why he gave him no room, see above.
3. What did Super think was going to happen? Rickie probably assumed (like most drivers) that as he was running a consistent line that a faster driver could find his way around him without feeding him a right rear wheel. If someone feeds you a right rear with no provocation, it's considered a chicken poop act. It's like walking up to someone kicking them in the giblets and only then telling them they are in a fight. Drivers also don't like it because when a right rear suddenly appears 2 feet off your left elbow, you are now in a position where the overwhelming majority of things can go very wrong quickly for you (with a large number of them hurting you) but the guy who fed the wheel has very few things that can go wrong and will drive away unscathed 99 out of 100 times.
Over the last 10 years it seems like it's become acceptable to just sail the car into the corner and hope that everything works out once you get there. If you hit something or someone, that's just part of the deal and considered racing. Maybe I'm old school but I call it crashing.

Good stuff, Rich. I have always thought the one of coolest things about sprint car racing is watching the guys who can go to the front without running into anyone.
