WOW What a weekend of Sprint car racing. This was just a GREAT show all the way around. Courteous staff, Great fried food and burritios, Excellent food prices, best i have seen in a long time, Excellent decision to only have 1 support class. Drivers did an excellent job. If you did not make this show, sorry cause you missed a great one with action throughout the heats, B mains and features. Good job and Hats off to you Devils Bowl. And congrats on keeping the showing moving right along.

Accolades to all...Lanny and staff, ASCS and staff, fans were friendly, appreciative and a little cool Saturday night, but great show both nights.

We here in the DFW area are glad everybody had a good visit, and some great racing to boot! Welcome back any time. Just wondering.......which route did you guys use to get to the track? Did you come in from the north or south on Lawson Road?

I would bet they didn't come in from the North. I agree this was one of the best shows at the Bowl in years. The Friday night ASCS feature was awesome. The Saturday feature was good too. The restarts especially made it exciting. I was still cleaning tire rubber out of my ears on Sunday morning thanks to the Saturday night wind, but it was worth every minute.

THE WOO should take note.

Outlaw quality field of drivers + decent tires + dished wings = 3 wide racing.

And that's what we got at Devils Bowl.

I agree, best races I've witnessed in a couple of years. Lanny's bunch, as always, were most hospitable. We came one night from the north, just killing time. It wasn't bad, left north both nights, no problems. Can't wait 'til summer nats.

raeccrash778: I just wanna rip on I-30 some more after attending the piss poor show that was the STN's last year.

I've left to the south before but this was my very first "enter the Bowl from I-20" experience.

I came & went from I-20 and it was 100% better than the North thanks to the minefield that was Lawson road just off 80.

I'll admit... it sure didn't feel right driving through new housing developments and 4 lane roads heading to the Bowl! I just feel at home when I make that weird zigzag exit and turn right at the old gas station & barn... not to mention Catfish Corner!

I have defended I-30 in the past but cant argue with what happened last year. It was pretty sad indeed. I just hope that this will force tracey to make some changes and have some more equiptment on hand to rework the track and make the racing much better. It was a real letdown that with that caliber of cars we had that sorry of a excuse for a racetrack come feature time.

I realize that my remarks sound like "piling on",but have to agree with Petey on this issue. We attended I-30 for a number of years but have had to give over and drop it from our dance card after last year's fiasco. We are among the aging group of fans that still love to watch competitive racing in whatever form but because we have seen quality in the past we are able to identify it and even tho I-30 had all the great cars and drivers the main ingredient was missing.

We had forgiven I-30 on occasion but find it impossible to drive this far from home and justify spending the money for fuel if the result is a racing surface that produces yet another poor peformance. One of our now extinct Hoseheads scribes used to repeat it over and over......"RACING IS PASSING !" We miss you ,Duane and will carry on the good fight .

You'd be a damn fool to object to that SHOW or complain about anything. . Great Food, Great Parking etc. Still just cant get over the racing action. And best of all only 1 support class. we are still talking about the weekend and will be back in the fall if not before.

It wasn't just feature time, it was a majority of the night on Sat.
