I have never been to Merced or Calistoga tracks can someone tell me where the best seats are to watch the races. Thank-you

As high as you can get at both tracks - the stands at Merced are pretty big, so you shouldn't have a problem getting a seat. Calistoga's main grandstand is better, and the lower seat have s somewhat blocked view of the backstretch due to the teams pitted in the infield.

Calistoga has some box seats, do not buy them. Go a few rows up in the main grandstand from the walkway that separates the boxes from the main grandstand seating.. Calistoga also has bleachers try to sit up high if there..
