Perfect??? The weather is supposed to be in the middle 80's for highs on Fri. & the upper 80's on Sat. Can't get much better than that. A 20% chance of rain on Sunday.

Remember - Lawson Rd. is closed from highway 80 to the railroad tracks.

You need to find your way down to I-20 east and then exit Lawson Road and go back to the track from the other side. If you'll let me know exactly what highway you're coming down I can probably give you a good route to get there.

I'm happy with just one support class, and since my nephew is running in it then that makes it great for me.

So no way to get to the track from the North side? We were coming down 35 south from OK City. So we have to come into the track from the south side?

You can still get to the track from the north side. Just take the Collins Road exit (the one just before Lawson Rd.) When you cross the railroad, turn left...that road along the railroad dead ends into Lawson Road. Just turn right back onto Lawson. You will see the lights while going along the railroad. Go to Yahoo Maps and study it a little. The track is just off the South end of Mesquite airport. You can find it!

That will work, but there is a simpler way. You can also stay on 35E all the way down past downtown until it runs into I-20. Then take I-20 East all the way to Lawson Road. Exit Lawson Road and turn left and you'll be at the track in another 4 or 5 minutes. This way is a little simpler overall. The only problem can be traffic and negotiating your way through the 30/35E/45 mixmaster. Any idea what time you're coming down?
