With temps around 77 at 6 o'clock, an Outlaw style crowd showed up for the Opener.
I'd rather sit through time trials, than try to understand & determine how they lined up the cars with passing points/draw...
Some writers would lead you to believe that the #7 of Chad Layton wasn't in the pit area however the Chip machine lost a motor in the 3rd heat & scratched for the remainder of the evening.
Stevie may have won from the pole however TDub kept it exciting by attempting a couple passes during the last 5 laps, but Stevie held his momentum & got him right back.
Dietrich caught the end of the Pittman/Smith crash & went upside down. Saw his top wing heading north on 11/15 on the way home.
There was wheel banging throughout the field...
I don't know that I've ever seen the #51 look so bad on the race track...
