I see the KKR chevy powered 83 is right where Dennis is comfortable..... only 120 points back after a few weeks of racing. Joey must be excited to know he might get to run the better "new" stuff soon.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

as fast as Joey has been with the Mopars the last couple to few years i think i would be begging to keep them. but then again i'm just kinda biased  Im afraid once the 9 quits running them there wont be any more.

Maybe that is why KKR did not loan an Engine to the 83sr. in Las Vegas, they didn't have a Chevy.. :-)

You hit the nail on the head.... Roth's car is where it usually is, and Saldana will be where he usually is if and when they switch. Those TSR teams have done quite well with the Chevy power, KKR will be no different.

From what I was told the 9 car was running the 83 car's spare motor in Vegas as they didn't have one...Don't yell at me it's only what I was told

The only thing Chevy about them is the original design from the 1950's. Everything on them is aftermarket, with the exception of a few 360's running some GM Performance stuff.
It's pretty cool to me that MOPAR makes the heads & blocks, as well as a few other things for their engines. I am also glad to see Ford back in the mix, it's nice for us to all have a brand to cheer for and rib our buddies about.

Theres not enough new Mopar / Fiat parts ( blocks) to build any new engines.

I'd say the mold is fine. Its just not worth it to Fiat/Mopar to build anymore. How many Dodge teams are in the sprint cup series now? I can only find 1.
