I usally don't comment on alot of sujects.... The Track at South Coffeyville speedway was one of the worse I have seen in yrs of racing and viewing...There was lights going out, water truck, grader, tractor all ran out of fuel at one time during the nite...Water truck broke hose and spiiled fulll truck all over the track Just about race time...It was my first time to the track and was very dissapointed.. Any time you have to shorten a A-main in half due to cars being destroyed by the ruts in the track, need to rethink racing there again..There were several cars that didn't even come out and compete in the B main due to not destorying there cars...I talked with several guys that are at the track weekly they said they have been working on the track for this race for over a week,,, just was hoping for a great show and went to a track watched demolition derby...USMTS fan....

It was definately dissapointing that the track came apart, it was my first trip there as well but in the tracks defense it really seemed like one of those nights where you just can not catch a break. I want to think that is not a normal chain of events for them. It was such a shame to because the heat races were unbelievable, best races I have ever seen and then the track started coming apart. It was nice to go somewhere and see passing, it doesn't happen alot. I went to a USMTS event last year at Outlaw and it was the most boring event of the year for me, knowone even thought about passing all night and it was just the way the track was - one lane. Maybe someone that goes there more often can comment on if that is normal for them because the races (the mod portion anyway) were great until the track fell apart, and I would definately like to give them another try, but it is way to far to go for another night like Friday.
