Wish that #3 car he drove last year could have stayed together. That car was fast. He should have won a few shows in that one (King's Royal). Alas I didn't get to see him race it. Good luck to the Mad Man.

Kendrick To Usa
Geoff Kendrick is pleased to announce that together with one of our major sponsors, Bob Gavranich they have formed a new sprintcar team, Keneric Racing in the USA.
The team together with their driver Kerry Madsen kick off on March 18 for World of Outlaws Race at the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford and on the 19th at the Thunder bowl Raceway in Tulare in California.
“Kerry Madsen will now drive for us in Australia and America which will give us the continuity that I have always wanted as it helps when we all know how each other works and we are always using the same chassis and the same parts,” Geoff Kendrick said. The preparation for the new team has been intense and over the last 3 months the Crew Chief in the USA, Sonny Kratzer has been preparing 2 brand new cars, purchased a Truck and Trailer and furthermore Keneric Racing is in the process of securing a new facility in Knoxville, Iowa.
The plan is for Madsen to contest about 60 American shows this year, picking and choosing events, but including many World of Outlaws rounds. We have got enough parts to put together a competitive program and the goal is to step it up each year with the view of eventually doing the full World of Outlaws season. Jason Kendrick will also race ‘Stateside in July and August, contesting around 25 shows, culminating in the Knoxville Nationals on the 10th to the 13th August 2011.
We are also pleased that Kendrick Racing Team Australia together with Keneric Racing and Kerry Madsen will continue with the famous number 92 which has been selected in appreciation of the support that has been provided by 92.9 PMFM over many years. In the USA support will also be provided by some of our existing sponsors in Australia. To Castrol Racing, Earthex Logistics, Geoff Kendrick Autos, Kendrick Racing, Keneric Group, PIHA, Ricochet Transport and Vortex Racing Products we thank them for their continued support.
In addition to the above our new race car trailer is under construction and our race shop is currently being fitted out in Wangara and is due for completion in late April. The Official Opening is currently planned to take place in May 2011 and once open it will be the best sprintcar facility in Australia.
In the meantime the team is heading to the Kwinana Motorplex this Saturday night to contest the All-star show.
Madsen will be looking to repeat the form that won him the Krikke Boys Memorial in Bunbury last Sunday night and Kendrick the form that saw him win the Rising Stars feature race.
Kendrick 92.9 Racing acknowledge the support of 92.9, Melville Holden and Melville Suzuki, Keneric Group, Piha Pty Ltd, Ricochet Transport, Vespoli Construction, Summers Legal, Amcap, KTM Motorsports, Castrol, West Kimberley Fuels, Champion Spark Plugs/Ferodo, Belair Smash Repairs, A&S Industrial Coaters, PPG Auto Refinishes, Alpine, Earthex, Ron Krikke Auto Centre, Delbasso Smallgoods, Bowra Signs, , Skippers Trucks, Smooth Financial Services, Kincrome, Monster Energy Drinks, Goodyear Tyres and Degrey Civil & Contracting.
