I just got the 200+ pics we took this past weekend at Volusia posted. Of course I'm bit prejudiced but I think there are some good shots there Enjoy

Awesome pit pics. I enjoy looking at the details of the cars that you can't see in the action shots. Thanks!

very cool indeed. Really like seeing the cars and drivers up close.
Question: In the shots of Joey Saldana putting on his helmet, he takes his glasses off before putting it on. I always thought he wore them while racing, but those pictures make it appear that he does not. Not sure what his correction is for, but I know in my case, if I could not wear my glasses while driving, I'd be as likely to hit the wall as the corner and all the other cars on the track would be a giant blur! I've tried putting on a helmet and could not get it over my glasses, but of course it was not sized for me which could have been the problem. I presume they make helmets that will handle glasses.
Could someone who knows confirm the helmet/glasses thing, and does Joey wear his glasses while driving or not?

Glasses off, helmet on, slide glasses on between head and padding of helmet, close visor, go fast! That's what I did at least for my motorcycle helmet. I always did my fitting with no glasses as well. I've never saw any special design. I am pretty sure Joey races with them on.

Hey everybody, thanks for the nice words I've been kicking around racetracks for quite some time, and have a big push on (when I can make the time, that is) to get literally thousands of pics up and posted that I have taken and accumulated over the years. For better or worse I'm dragging them out of the shoebox and getting them into the digital universe. As for the digital camera pics I'm trying to get a system going, I figure if I can organise the shop and tool box I can sort this out as well...I think.

Great shots, thanks for sharing, felt like I was there, but now I can't wait to see my first race of the year. Hopefully that is this coming Saturday at Lincoln Speedway if the weather holds out.
