Are we looking at another break down year? I am surprised cars built by Dj Lindsey are falling out of races EVERY night. I'm a big Dollansky fan but Craig is already 100 points behind. Yes it's early but the championship came down to the last lap last year. Hopefully after Florida things will turn around.

The championship DID NOT come down to the last lap last year. The Championshiop was locked up before they ever even unloaded at Charlotte. Meyers just put an explanation point on it by winning the last 2 features of the year. So whoever or wherever you are getting your info, I'd think about changing sources. In regards to the break-downs, it isnt DJ's fault. Every guy down in Florida last week that was running "Morrison" motors blew em' sky hi. Sammy torched one, Dollansky torched about a dozen of em' and Lance Dewease, just to name a few all blew up their Morrison motors. Also, when you say "falling out of EVERY race", just what do you mean by that? Your statement would imply that Craig didn't finish a single race all week. I believe he finished 11th last night.

Greg Hodnett blew all his up too and left early

I too thought Sammy was on Parkers? Either way, Dollansky had some fast ass hot-rods. Sucks to see a guy lead 52 of 60 laps in total domination on the last two nights but not be able to come out on top. I'm sure they'll figure it out

do it in the dirt

Sammy did run Parkers and had trouble with one, only because they put the 360 pump on the 410 motor..He never run a Morrison that I heard of..

One of the pics of Sammy's car from early in the week shows Morrison on the oil pan. It looks like its time for a RoushYates Ford for these guys. A Ford is much cheaper.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Our engine builder always says they usually run the best right before they blow up. I can certainly speak for that. Apparently Craig's were running a little too good! What they'll probably figure out is turn them back down a tick.

I hope so. With Dj being back and great sponsors i would love to see Craig have another great year like he did in the 2 car. He's about due for a big year.

Is this the same Morrison that made his 'claim to fame' building DIRT big block engines?

I was there & it was fun. After watching Craig lead & break down Saturday, I was rooting for him Sunday, but.....

I can understand the breakdown (things break, right?), but I was wondering if anyone knows why he seemed to lose power after leading 25 laps Sunday?

Thanks to whoever warned us about cold Florida nites. I live in Colorado & wore every layer I had!

This from WoO PR Kyle Luetters: "It felt like something broke, like a shock or something," said a dejected Dollansky. "Come to find we had a bolt come loose on a left front radius rod so we were very lucky to make it around in once piece."

Thanks for the info. I'm new to this & its a mystery why some guys are greased lightnin one nite & slow the next.... guess that the crew chief's job. For example Sammy swept the Allstars nites but was mediocre Sat. & Sunday???

Sammy did indeed say in his victory interview that he was running a Parker. Evidently the best one and it blew ... he didn't run near as well after that.

Guess I must have been under a rock, where are Parker and Morrison engines built and where are they from? Don't recall hearing of them before.

I know that the 91 ran a backup car on the first night of All Stars then switched cars for the rest of the week (I think). They wanted some track time in case they wrecked one.
