The radar doesn't look so good... haven't seen anything anywhere though about pulling the plug... anybody close to 34 Raceway have any insight??

Radar looks bad but in Burlington no rain yet. Dark to the west but has actually lightened up quite a bit compared to earlier.

That's too bad. I feel for the guys that towed all the way down there for nothing. Better luck next week guys.

You would have thought that the IRA would have scheduled their race @ Burlington the same weekend as Knoxville (Next Saturday). Especially with the high gas prices.

Hopefully they'll reschedule for next Sunday, but I doubt they will. Makes too much sense.

Makes no sense for the IRA to even go there & compete with Knoxville guys.

yeah, i know, 90% of the Knoxville guys can't do squat away from their weekly and lifetime hangout. Whitney, Young, Neitzel would have kicked some serious tail.

Good luck getting out of Mother Day activities on that Sunday. My "Squeeze" wants me with her one weekend a year (and not at ANY race.) I get to go racing any other time but that weekend. Bet there's a few more in the same predicament as me.

Aztec , Sorry about your luck but my wife and I enjoy going to the races in fact we got married at Knoxville 2 years ago this coming weekend in the afternoon as the track crew was prepping it for the IRA vs. Knoxville 410 Shootout.We were really looking forward to see the IRA run at Burlington tonight but I guess we will just have to wait a few more days and hope mother nature gives us some great racing weather this weekend for our anniversary and Mother's Day
