Nodak Speedway’s Relaunches RaceNodak.com Today
Minot ND (2/2/11) by DarinShort.com. Nodak Speedway in Minot ND is home of the nations’ longest running track-club promoted speedway. They also recently unveiled their new, massive grandstand to the throngs of race fans of the area.
The Nodak Race Club has promoted racing and special events at the 3/8 mile power plant since 1952. And today, the Club and Speedway is pleased to announce the re-launch of their online home www.RaceNodak.com .
The new site has several new features, including Flash racing images and music, 2011 racing schedule, classifieds section and more. The site will also be updated regularly with the latest in upcoming events and results when the new season begins.
Right now, the home page features the 2011 lid lifter, which is the ‘SuperBowl’ of off-season events, the 20th Annual Wild About Wheels (WaW) March 19-20. Details on the event will be announced soon.
The 2011 racing season at Nodak Speedway is packed with special events and top-quality IMCA weekly racing. The season opener is on May 8th. Plus, special events for the Dakota Classic Modified Tour will take to the track on July 10th, the “Magic City Showdown” for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars on August 20th - 21st, and the season will close with the running of the wildly popular ‘Motor Magic’ multi-division racing spectacular on September 3rd-4th. Dates for the NOSA Sprints and NLRA Late Model Tour are in the works, and will be forthcoming.

They are apparently stuck with that harvest time weekend with the WoO. Unless it rains one to three days before the weekend, a lot of farmers can't make the race. Getting that crop in is the most important thing in their minds. I'd say it costs them at least a thousand fans, yet they still have a big crowd.

Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.
