I noticed that Don Droud Jr. was on Fridays entry list last week at the Chili Bowl, but I noticed that he DNS every race he was scheduled to run on Friday and Saturday. Did anybody hear what the trouble was? Thanks for any info!

I remember Brown and Droud hot lapping together before 6pm and coming out of two Droud slowed and went up the ramp, never to be seen again.

From Don Droud Jr. Racing Facebook page:
Don Droud Jr. RacingOur 2011 Chili Bowl experience ended before it started. Was 2nd fastest in hot laps before we bent a valve in the motor. Where is lady luck when you need her?

Thanks folks, I appreciate the info! Man that's too bad, he's a great guy, and all around good driver (no matter what seat you put him in!) We always root for him at Knoxville in that famous Sonner #47.
