Forgive me for not knowing but what is a "nomination list?" I have never heard of that up here in the States so it must be something unique to Australia.

Just a guess , but think It's just a list of drivers entered in the event.

I don't see the connection to racing but whatever you guys want to call it is fine by me.

Nomination – noun

1.
an act or instance of nominating, esp. to office: The floor is open for nomination of candidates for the presidency.

2.
the state of being nominated.

3. a list of race car drivers

PCR Fan 2 I rather enjoy the Australian colloquialisms you and others interject into the forum. Upon occasion, I will display to my High School English classes posting from this forum, Australian, English, and English speaking newspapers from non English speaking countries to demonstrate multiple lexicons within a single language. Your usage of Australian English, lends credence to the quote "Britain and America are two nations separated by a common language" Perhaps we would be served by substituting Australia for Britain.
