I don't think you've missed it, Hawker. It's only early January. The All Stars...unfortunately...have developed a history for not releasing their schedule until very late. Hopefully we see something before the opener in a few weeks.

I believe they are still filling in the TBCALD (to be cancelled at a later date) part of the schedule.

New tracks indeed!!! They will be travelling to Winnipeg Manitoba and Estevan Saskatchewan for the first time respectively in late July. As well as racing in Canada, there will be shows in ND. I'm looking forward to a major touring series visiting my local track in Winnipeg. It will be the first time in nearly 15 years we've had a decent sprint car race here. Last time was late 90's when the NCRA travelled here. I'm hoping some extra travellers make the trek to the upper-upper northern Midwest LOL. TMac has it on his schedule already. This is also the week leading up to the Knoxville Nationals so I'm hopeful some cars from out west will also come up to race here.

Not sure which part of this is more retarded.. the:
1) "15-22 travelers" or;
2) "Illinoise"
305's are the herpes of sprint cars

I did notice that Belleville is not on their stop for 2011 so I wonder if the "Thunder Through the Plains" tour, which was just a mere shadow of itself when NCRA rid of the 410 sprinters, is a thing of the past - officially.

David, I wouldn't quite say it's an official "thing of the past," but it may be run a little differently. One of the regions for the All Stars this year (they split their schedule into 3 regions in an effort to get teams to follow individual regional areas) is the Western region. From the press release announcing the regionalization:
"In late summer, the Western Region competition will begin with a 10 race schedule, which will include the O'Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions' annual Thunder Through the Plains. This will feature a $10,000-to-win point fund that will pay back 10 positions."
The point fund for winning is half of what the Midwest and East are, but with only 10 races as opposed to 15-20 in the other regions that is understandable. I'm sure the new races that Canucklehead mentioned are part of the Western region.

410JimmyJames in the man.
McCarl has some All Star dates on his schedule including:
April 8&9: Attica
7/26: Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, SK)
7/28: Red River CO-OP Speedway (Winnipeg, MB)
7/29:River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, ND)
08/02:Huset's Speedway (Brandon, SD)
08/03: Red River Valley Speedway (Fargo, ND)
08/17: Red River Valley Speedway (Fargo, ND)
8/20: Butler
9/24: Wilmot
10/1: Eldora
Assume Fargo wouldn't have 2 dates so close together, so 1 of those will probably go away. Good to see them back at Eldora, if true.
