Disappointing that only 20 cars showed up for this race.

Although it's cool (probably in the high 50s or low 60s today -Sunday, the sun is shining brightly and it's clear.

Probably a sign of the economy which, if we listen to the Obama drivel, is getting better.

I think money for most was an issue...Run a 360 Sprint Car in Tucson or save some coin and run the Chili Bowl. I bet team's that thought about going to the McCluskey are glad they didn't unless they were guaranteed a front row start. Did the clay ice over or what ? Was it a strung out freight train or were they at least somewhat nose to tail? I hope this isn't a preview of what's to come out West in 2011

$3000.00 to win Sat = 20 cars checked in 14 make the main, $5000.00 to win Sun = 16 cars checked in 13 in the main? This could be a lean year for sprint cars, I hope I'm wrong.

Neither Bush nor Obama was/is a prize. Bush was a profligate spender only to be outdone by Obama.

p.s. That's one hell of a ride that Charles Davis took looking at the picture. Wonder how high the car was?

Unless my count is wrong, only 11 USAC/CRA events at Perris. That includes the 3 nights for The Oval Nationals. You may be right, I hope you are wrong too.

It's 2 years in a row that the car count has been less that desirable. Open it back up and allow the restricted 410's to compete.

Here is a short video I got of Mike Martins flip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es_YG89EOd8

That was the first lap of the first heat race in the 99 car

he got out the #16 and lost the right front wheel coming down the front straight

and wrecked that car too

anyone have a clip of that wreck? wonder if they found that front tire and wheel?

I've never seen a car hop like that so early into one at Tucson before. I can't tell what the heck happened for sure.

Here's another jigsaw to do while you're thinking over the next point you're gonna make in this argument

Anyone with a brain realizes its Congress that does the spending! Without those Liberal Knuckleheads (no disrespect to the iconic Harley engine) voting wasteful legislation for the President to sign we wouldn't be in such a mess! Joe
