Is this the same driver that cost Jason Meyers the Kville Nationals by not pulling to the pits but instead rolled to a stop on the track @ start/finish to get some TV time ? I thought so !
|
Dont mean to start anything bad.... But nobody mentions that Meyers was cost a Gold Cup win two years ago... I dont believe that Tyler coming to a stop on the track cost anyone a win... People on here are funny, talking shit about things they only wish they could do... Hell, I wish I had the opportunity to come to a stop during the A main of the Nationals at Knoxville, and I wouldnt care less about the people on here that talked shit about it.... Say something worth meaning!

The second yellow didn't do anything
The only person that lost that race was Meyers

Amen! Schatz was going to drive by him one way or another.

I cant honestly say Tylers actions cost Meyers a win , but, competitor and fan courtisy should be a quality Mr walker should know by now?, his mechanical trouble was plauged on the backstreach of Knoxville , if youve ever driven Knoxville you will understand there is alot of ground to cover to the frontstrech exit (ironically most utilized) Im not sure about Walkers thinking that night? some say he had no brakes, well, thats a soar excuse, all drivers have experianced poor to no brakes in a sprintcar, his speed was tremendously low at the pit entrance off the racing surface, his track position was low (pretty much off the racing lanes) , a turn to the right almost puts a hault to a car in distress with nill brakes, he had plenty of room, even in the pits it was clearly open did he add a bit of drama ? I think so, can he wheel a sprint car? yes he can , he has a bonzie style , entertaining ? yes, sometimes a terror to competitors that way, but, he is no Wild Child , JMO..

All Im saying is the Knoxville Nationals is the biggest sprint car race on the planet. During this race if you happen to be a bad ass enough to make the show, no matter how your Nationals comes to an end, you want someone behind the wheel that has the never say die attitude. If you dont have it at Knoxville during the Nationals, then why show up...

The engine explosion busted his brake line PLUS he had oil over over himself and his shield. He couldn't see anything.
FACT!

My personal favorite was the Lincoln Icebreaker. First race in brand new car. First corner. First trashed car.

And Jason Meyers is the same dumb m-r-effer that didn't stop at the SCALES after the b-main at the 2010 Nationals thus effectively ending that team's shot at a chance to make the Nationals A-main. Hey - I didn't open the door - I just walked through it DUMBASS. MOST drivers and I can assure you Jason Meyers is one of them would have done the same damned thing Tyler did in that a-main. Regardless - the result is the same much like Stevie Smith not winning the '93 nationals and any number of things that have occurred over the years to make it so that Sammy only has one Nationals win.

It will not be long now until the a$$ kissing Walker fan's come on here and try to defend him.Why ? Because he has so much talent behind the wheel of a sprint car ? I would be willing to bet Walker could (God Forbid) go "Postal" or pull an "O.J" and the same people would come on here and defend him because "he sure is a talented sprint car driver" Funny that the caliyoutube video that was pulled from this board is now posted on the Aussie boards(and not by me) .Alot fans over there are NOT impressed by Tyler and his antics!!! But that is OK because "he sure is a talented sprint car driver"

They have arrived.

I'm guessing you have never had a water or oil on a helmet before? Even if he had 15 tearoffs on his shield, all the oil would have went in between them and smeared. The man couldn't stop or see where he was going. Even guys who race at a certain track for 20+ years have went right by the pit openings and stopped on the track. It happens at Williams Grove all the time!
The only reason he could see to get the car to the pits after he stopped was because he lifted the shield when the push truck came to move him.
