I know this gets asked every year but I can't find the info I need searching old posts so I've got a few questions for the guys who have been before.

  1. I'm only going to make it for Saturday..How hard is it to get a ticket out front and whats it roughly gonna cost (what's Saturdays face value average)?
  2. Hows the parking around the expo center, should I worry about a hotel within walking distance?
  3. Any good racing bars or party hot spots Friday night?

If anybody on here has 4 tickets for just Saturday night email me [email protected]

Saturday night only tickets are getting harder and harder to find out front for face value. there will be four scalpers out there who are there every year. they try to get $100 a pop for them. If you show up early on Saturday and stand out front, you can usually find an extra from a race fan for face value. Of course if you could get there earlier in the week, it is easier. I would really try to get one on here, the Indiana Openwheel board or even Ebay before going, just to keep from having to stand out front, especially if it's cold... The parking isn't bad at all now with the amusement park being gone.... Can't tell you about the party spots, I don't partake like I did 25 years ago...

We dont really worry about tickets, buy a pit pass & enjoy.... As far as parking show up early & you can park fairly close... As far as clubs.... dont know what you kind of clubbing you like to do.... We go to Town Pump it is not a strip club, lot of different owners & drivers like to party there....

Will be no motels in the area you can walk from that aren't full. As stated above, parking is only a problem if you arrive late.

From what I've heard. you'll be lucky if you can get a seat when you buy a pit pass, as seating is very limited. Maybe you can watch the big screen in the pits.......

The Elephant Run (Best Western Trade Winds Central) used to be the real party spot for the Bowl but I don't think it's as kicking as it used to be. I went to the Caravan bar (Caravan Cattle Co. is the full name) on E. 41st street one night last time and it was totally packed with fans and racers.

I'm gonna go with a pit pass this time for Sat. I think I can scrounge up a seat for the featch somewhere haha.
