the state of Oklahoma have a 410 series like the sate of Wisconsin with the IRA Series. Here are the engine rules.
410 cubic inch maximum (a slight clean-up tolerance not to exceed 4
cubic inches may be deemed legal) No double overhead cam engines, no titanium
cranks or rods, no super or turbo chargers. One spark plug per cylinder, two valves per
cylinder. Oil pan inspection plug is SUGGESTED, oil pans without plug may be
subject to removal. Fuel injection - maximum of 3" inside bore diameter measured on
the fuel injector body at the butterfly. Butterfly and shaft models only. No side plate or
rotary barrels.
An engine pumping over 414 will be declared illegal, at this point you will be given
the opportunity to pull your head for measurement to prove otherwise, you have one
half hour after the request to do so.
Anyone who refuses to comply with this rule, destroys IRA property, or abuses IRA
official
WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, and all points and money earned for the event
will be forfeited; money to be placed in the IRA point fund. If money has already been
paid prior to the disqualification, neither driver or car owner will be allowed to race
again with the IRA until money has been returned to IRA officials.
I know there are 2 barrel guys out there spending as much money on a two barrel motor as some of the ASCS guys are on injected motors.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands
in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he
stands at times of challenge and controversy."

Because here in the great state of Oklahoma alot of promoters are working to kill the classes we do have and shut the doors of the tracks we have, I don't think it could handle another class.
Can I change my name to ModifiedFanRob?

Both the 410 and the ascs deal are out of control money wise. Any competitive 410 is 40-45000 new. The best 360 out right now is 45000 new. A pretty competive 2 barrel could be built for 12,000 from the floor up. Mine has a $600 crank and $300 rods in it. Some 2 barrel guys might have 30,000 in their motors. I believe last I heard wells was doing them for 23,000 or so. Also the 410s last about 6 nights and you have to rebuild them. A Fisher ascs motor shouldn't go over 15. And a half mile counts as 2 shows. There's a reason the 410s died in Tulsa. Stuff was getting too expensive. To me, if you can't build your own and be competetive it's not worth trying.
And this isn't including extra wear and tear on driveline and suspension parts.
