You did an awesome job on that! You must be in sales or politics. Hope they paid you for your efforts. The average person would watch that and say "I need to get to some IRA shows". Unfortunately the video is extremly glorified. Half of these cars and drivers you showed don't even run with the IRA, unless you're at Knoxville or Cedar Lake. Of course these also happen to be the really good ones. Some of the other guys like Hepfner and Young don't run much either even though they reside in the IRA region. All indications in 2011 say that Balog and Reinke won't be there either. So what you have left going forward is a normal Saturday night Wilmot show. If you want a preview for 2011 IRA, you can go to Youtube and look up Wilmot footage.

Again, awesome job.

Hey Sir Dick Danger!!!

Remember that at all the IRA shows it is the other drivers that show up that help make the IRA what it is.( A GOOD SHOW)

I am sure the IRA will do fine in 2011. If guys want to go out and due something else that is fine I am sure they still will be at the majority of the IRA races. Looks like the schedule is getting some restructuring which sounds like Steve is listening to customers aka drivers, owners and fans.

This is from the last IRA Newsletter on their web site www.irasprints.com

First off, it appears VERY LIKELY that less work days (Fridays) will be utilized overall, and that at least half of those will be Oshkosh & Dodge Co, which are local for most.

Secondly, IRA will be off at least 3 weekends…. One in May, Cedar Lake/Beaver Dam WoO weekend in July, and Knoxville Nationals week in August. We may very well have 1or 2 others. IN ADDITION, we will have a few more Saturday's open, as I'm not planning on any Saturday night's following Oshkosh (and may be a few other) Friday shows. This allows teams that need a break (or life) a Saturday off, and those who want to race more the opportunity to go to non-IRA shows at Wilmot or Knoxville.

Thirdly, I believe we can accomplish both the above #1 & #2 AND still have a 30 or so IRA point race schedule and if the current schedule continues as planned, we will accomplish that.

Fourth, IRA will be headlining the Sheboygan County Fair on Saturday night of the Fair on Labor Day Weekend creating a "potential", 3-day race weekend right in our own backyard. How cool is that! Our June Plymouth date is on the same day as the NASCAR Nationwide race which runs that afternoon at nearby Road America.

Fifth, while working on a new track or two for the IRA schedule, we verbally have agreed to run at the newly reconfigured Mississippi Thunder track just across the river from Winona on the WI side in Fountain City. Checkout www.mississippithunder.com for pictures. It's designed very much like Deer Creek which everyone seems to enjoy racing at.

Video is nice. Would have been nice to see more of the IRA drivers that support the series. Some guys are in the backgound shots. It is a working man's series Sir Dick Rump Ranger. You are so good at bitching about the series that why don't you race a car or run the IRA and show everyone how to do it?

not bitching at all you old fart. you said pretty much the same thing I did. I don't go to many anymore but when I do, it's Friday nights. Have a good time at Wilmot and Plymouth. The "All Sprint Show" at Plymouth is not my cup of tea and it's looking to be even appealing to me going forward.
