Does this mean maybe a new region for open wheel sprint car racing. The High Plains Region maybe?

I hate to see USAC get Dodge City, they will probably pave the track, just like it was before the track wad restored back to dirt. C. Ray Hall would have been the best choice.

From what I remember, USAC is one of the parties who convince them to pave it (against almost everyone in Ford county) when it was built. It never was dirt in the beginning. Remember this is a new track not the old McCarty Speedway. It is not even on the same property as the old track.
If they go through that controversy again I believe Matt Dillon, couldn't even stop the mob.

Does USAC running the show mean no ASCS, WoO, NCRA, URSS, IMCA/BST or any other sanctioning body other than USAC or USAC/CRA?

I am with Mike on this one, USAC not a good choice, they have showed me nothing but how they can screw up for about the past 15 or so yrs. , Midget class nearly extinct with cars, would not control motor costs and still running for $1,000 to win at shows, the Silver Crown Pavemnet Car they tried to create for Pavement was a joke and quite an ugly car as well the Ford Focus class that really was pumped up to be the answer in Midget Racing and that did'nt happen and well like David Grace said in one of his stories from the NCRA/USAC Challenge race in OKC in the 80's , USAC thought their poop did'nt stink and the list goes on but I'll quit there.
USAC is not real fond of bringing other organizations in from what I have read and seen in the past (Example the TNT Sprint Bandit deal with ASCS, heard they would not co sanction way back when ASCS started the deal of the TNT series) but again $$$ always dictate things different sometimes in todays world. So they could but I doubt it.
