When will we begin to see entries for this years Chili Bowl? Their website hasn't changed since June.

I imagine the final weeks of the ASCS National Tour kept Mr. Wheatley just a little busy lol
I'm sure they are in a virtual swamp of Tulsa Shootout entries as well. That is an event that should not be overlooked. Granted, New Years Eve can be tough for some - but if looking for a huge quality event - New Years Day at the Tulsa Shootout is virtually a lock. No more karts or quads - its an all open wheel affair. Nothing against those classes, but no more having to wait through dozens of kart races to get to the open wheel...
although I did like the quads. different and kind of neat. But trading the karts and quads for Non Wing Outlaw and Non Wing 1200cc.......
it's going to be a hell of an open wheel show
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

Wonder how many entries he'll need to offset the loss of karts and quads. Honestly those guys carried that program for many years and got tossed under the bus.

May sound like I am crying, which I am but they could have probably doubled their 1200 non-winged entries if they had deviated slightly from the AMSA format. Penalizing the alky cars with so much weight was a little unrealistic. The rest of the format was more inline. I could be wrong and they get more cars than they wanted but I haven't seen in the pre-entries yet. Not for an event of this stature. They should be double what they are. Maybe they only want a certain number of cars?
Enough crying.......I'll go "pout" around my alky car now. Maybe next year? LOL

I'm sure they have that well checked out and it was a good business decision on their part. They are successful because of many decisions.

Saw this on IBRACN.com
LOYET
MOTORSPORTS - CHILI BOWL
12/8/2010
Brad Loyet
was on TJSlideways.com Open Wheel Podcast last night and revealed his 2011 Chili
Bowl line up. Driving the orange #05's will be Brad Loyet, Casey Shuman, Damion Gardner, Michael
Pickens and Gary Taylor. A pretty good team of drivers for Loyet
Motorsports.
Also:
BROWN
GOIN BOWLIN
12/8/2010
I just read
on the FVP Racing fan page on Facebook that Brian Brown will be driving the Mike
Hess FVP #51 at this years Chili Bowl.

I agree, but putting 25lbs extra on your car is a poor reason not to race.
