HEFFNER RACING EXPRESSES THANKS FOR DREAM SEASON
Welcomes Back Daryn Pittman

As Thanksgiving weekend comes to a close, Heffner Racing Enterprises would like to give thanks and express its appreciation to everyone who has made our 2010 season simply unforgettable--and welcome back Daryn Pittman, who will again pilot the Lelands.com #27 in 2011.

“This really has been a dream season, especially being a fairly new owner,” said team owner Mike Heffner. “When I first started racing, I had told my dad that if I could have any driver, I would want Daryn Pittman. It’s an honor to have him on our team. And I couldn’t ask for a more dedicated, hardworking crew…guys who do this simply for the love of the sport. Also, the fans, the media, the track owners…everyone who provides us the opportunity every week to go out and do what we love.”

In only its second full season as a team, Heffner Racing is both proud and humbled to have competed and excelled during some of the sport’s most prestigious races, against the best in the world.

“We have had a great year considering we just started together in May. It was a huge blessing to jump in a car and be successful straight out of the box,” said Pittman. “So much of this sport is finding the right chemistry with people and with this team we have fun and we were able to find success very quick. I am looking forward to driving the 27 next year and we look to continue our hot streak in February and throughout 2011. Thanks to Mike Heffner for a great opportunity and to all the crew for their hard work.”

These accomplishments would not have been possible without the talent, support, coverage and encouragement of drivers, crew, sponsors, media and the especially the fans:

· Thank you to Daryn Pittman who gave us 12 wins this year!! Also, to Tyler Walker for giving us the first of the season.
· Thank you to the pit crew, all of whom work full time jobs in addition to donating their talents to the race team: Jimmy Pasquariello, Brandon Weibley, Jason “Rhino” Betz, Sean Strasbaugh, Brett Hockenberry, Tommy Pasquariello, Kevin Keyes, Stump, Randy Bailie, Roger Gold, Dylan Heffner, Russ Kocher, Larry Woodring
· Thank you to our marketing partners: Lelands.com, Pasquariellos Auto Shop, Scrub-A-Dub Performance Car Wash, Rider Racing Engines, Michael Graphics
· Thank you to product sponsors Weld Racing Wheels, Wings Unlimited, Zemco Headers, DMI, Rhino Energy Drink, Kenny's Components, Kelly Racing Fuel, Fast Tees, Ben Cook, Simpson, RE Technologies
· Thank you to the track owners, who provide the venues and means to compete.

That is awesome news! Hope Mr. Pittman stays in PA for years to come. I remember a few years back when he was driving the Titan car... he and a few other "outsiders" showed up at Selinsgrove one night. It very well could've been the first time he raced there? He pulled off the track as he was getting lapped by the Hamilton 77 (I think Hodnett was in it then). Boy how he has that place figured out now! He hauled a boat load of cash out of there this year! I don't blame a guy like him to not chase the outlaws. He can race two or three nights a weekend for decent sized purses and not have to TRAVEL. Run the Grove on Friday night and have your choice of Port or Lincoln Saturday night. It's probably nice traveling 40 or 50 miles from show to show versus 400 to 500 miles or more!

Good luck this year Daryn, nice to have you back!
