I've got $20 for the next race when none of the Williams cars flip. Hell, that will likely be the first race since they never seem to run long enough in the night to turn over. I've also got $50 to the first night all three cars make the main, and all cars finish the main without causing a yellow or red or go to the work area. Anyone want to add to this, it could start an off season pool for another dash. We could call it the "Oh my god, the Williams had a successful night - Dash"

A four car dash with Rip, his sons and Hiedi.
Actually we should be praising the John Jory group. What kind of car counts wound we have without them?

I join the rest in Thanking John Jory and the entire team. I think all of us that sit in the stands and enjoy the fruits of their efforts should put on a "Thank The Teams" day next year. I'll put my 20 up for that !
Thank you to the Jory/Williams Team, The Alexander / Jones Team, The Vanderweerd Team,
Kruser, Mike Spencer, Showtime, Bragg. The list goes on and I do not intend to leave anyone out.
We need them all to sustain the sport we all love. March cannot come soon enough !
While I am at a rant lets thank The PAS from Don to Kim to Tanner and Scott and all,
To the food service people who put on pretty good food for reasonable race prices.
Merry Christmas to all ! My whisper in Santa's ear will be for 38 cars (or more) each night !

And enough fans in the stands to pay for it all!

I did not mean to leave anyone off. The people at PAS who make this thing happen, usually without a glitch, every race. The announcers, track officials and Safety/Fire Crews. The Kazarian family for the sacrifices they have made and continue to make. To every sprint car driver and owner who rolls in the gate to entertain us Open Wheel Addicts. Thanks for the best racing around. This year I introduced 4 or 5 new people to this sport. They watched what happens on a Saturday night in awe. Great Show! Keep it up!

I think everyone owes anyone involved a big thank you!
I also think every fan owes it to all of the teams to spend one night a year watching the teams work their butts off in the pits to bring you guys a great night of racing! Spend the extra money just one night a year!
Joe

Just a note of information here... Rip is one of the most successfull active drivers at the PAS, also John Jory is one of the leading car owners on the winners list at the PAS. Without taking anybodys side here, I do have to say that if a driver isn't getting upside down once in a while he probably is not trying hard enough! A big "Ditto" on the Thank You to Jack & Sharon Jory, along with all the other car owners for being the backbone of our favorite PAStime. Sticking to the origianl post here, I do like the idea of kicking in $20.00 for some type of cause, the collection for next years Hall of Fame Classic starts in March and there will be a trophy dash, My bet is that there will be at least one black car sitting in the starting field. Happy Holidays to everyone, hope to see you next year...bring a friend, you'll be glad you did.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people of all genders and ages, I am not here to bash the Jory effort. We all love to see lots of cars, and cars that make for a good race. The Williams boys have come a long way in the last two years. They are competitive through the whole night, when there are some that have been doing this for 10 years and still don't get the hang of it. Just sometimes people get in over their head while driving. Happens to everyone, just some more than others. As for SCOREBOARD and JOEB56, how about you bend over and stick your head back in your a$$ for another couple years. This post turned out to be a thanks to everyone in the racing community, but you retards went and stunk it all up. Shame on you. How about you come back on and give thanks that there are people that keep this sport alive. Especially you JOEB56, obviously you got WAYYYY to worked up over this, had to create another screen name to post about this last night. Take your blinders off, and look at the big picture instead of poking only at me. This time, take 10 deep breaths, gather your thoughts, maybe even come up with a rough draft, then post something nice.
PS: scoreboard, I just plain don't like you. At least joeb56 has a chance to be a good person. grrrrrrr

What would you say to a driver who went 6 years + without getting upside down while winning 60+ races?

What would you say to a driver who went 6 years + without getting upside down while winning 60+ races I asked Jimmy Oskie about that one time... he said probably the driver wasn't trying hard enough!! But you do make a good point, there is an exception to everything...and 60 wins in 6 years is amazing, since the introduction of the roll cage, to do it without flipping is double amazing.
