 Al raced into the world on June 3, 1925, and took his final lap, checkered flags waiving, on Thursday, November 19, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife Pat; and children Diana, David and Albert Jr. Al is survived by his children, Alisa and Larry McDonald, Patty Micheli, Debbie Pombo, Tony and Susan Pombo and Pat Ruch; 15 grand-children; 11 great-grandchildren; and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the VA Hospital and the Country Living Center for the wonderful care they provided during his time with them.
