ummm....yeah, we went. STUPIDEST thing i've ever done. I've NEVER been to a RACE where there wasn't a single race (sprint cars at least). 2 time trial sessions for both the Sprints and Late Models and, wait for it....wait wait wait....not 1, or 2, or even 3, but count it, TEN heat races for the greatest spectacle on dirt know as the Super Dirt "big block mods"....HORRIBLE. I would have much rather of spent the (roughly) $100 on powerball, or on 00 at the roulette table. As far as the "racing" (mods) that did occur, nearly every race went like this: starting position=finishing position. The best thing was seeing The King run 2nd fastest in hot laps, then hear he changed motors and came out to set quick time. Apparently my fault for not checking the format, but this is the first time I have ever heard of a sprint car qualifying only event. Just STUPID in my opinion.

You'll be happy to know that Friday and Saturday only has two B-features and A-Main for the big blocks.

Thursday's program might not be that attractive but it's better than years past where it was only qualifying and no heats. And on the bright side, we don't have to watch big block heats Friday and Saturday.

I would say last night was the best show out of the four years so far. And it wasn't as ice biteing cold as last year!
