24 Cars

Weather: Clear and cool

track: tacky, but bumpy in the middle of turns 1 and 4

Mike Henry (#20) won from 3rd starting spot followed by Adam McCarthy(#4Q), Alyssa Geving (3X), and Jeff Parady (#6c). Announcer did not give full A-Main run down (even though a 12 lap pure stock feature was run after the sprints and the pit board did not post the final run down. frown

I will try to post final A-Main rundown later.

Geving took over the lead on lap 7 from early leader Art McCarthy (#19)passing him low in turns 1 and 2 until lap 15 when Brent Dothage #2b) tried to wrestle 2nd from McCarthy coming out of turn 2 and both cars banged wheels together and stopped on the backstretch. Only McCarthy would return.

The restart saw Henry move in to 2nd and pass Geving low in truns 3&4 on the 1st lap after the restart.. Henry would weave his way through traffic and take the checkered flag on lap 25 as the race went green the final 10 laps. Adam McCarthy also got around Geving late in the race as she settled for 3rd in a very impressive run for the youngster out of the go kart ranks. She has imnproved rapidly in a short period of time and is a gasser!

Qualifying was led by Art McCarthy, Bradley Terrel (#43), Henry, Jim Van Lare (#5v), Geving, and Adam McCarthy.

As Geving came up to pass the #17 coming out of turn 4 the two got together at the flagstand and Hill stopped bringing out the yellow while Geving was able to continue. At the same time Terrel trying to gain the lead got together with Arriga in turn 2 ending Arriaga's chance as he stopped on the backstrectch with front end problems while Terrel was able to keep going. Both Hill and Arriage were unable to restart on lap 6. Terrel coming up form 6th starting led the last 2 laps with Dothage just behind.
