Despite a dry, slick surface, the wing main was very good with Craig Stidham and Eric Humphries also having turns as leader. Ryan Bernal was untouchable in the spec main as was Brad Loyett in the midget main. The specs in particular and to a much lesser degree the midgets were hampered by back of the pack mishaps. There was some good racing for 2nd, particularly in the midget main.
Justin Sanders looked very strong in winning this race again this year, but I don't understand why the race went green initially before Andy Forsberg had a chance to get into his starting spot of 5th. He was about 10th on the track when the green was thrown.
22 specs, 19 midgets, 15 wingers, 8 midget lites, and one too many announcers. It would have been much better with only Munoz announcing.

Brad Loyett won from 4th starting, I believe it was Shannon McQueen in 2nd, and that is as much as I can recall. Danny Parker led the first 3 laps before Loyett used the bottom of the front stretch for the winning pass on lap 4 of 30.

Midget main was Loyet, Smith (in the McQueen colors), Sills, Golobic as top four. The 0 of Greg Bragg was running third the entire race before he overheated and came to a stop.

The racing was top notch the entire weekend. Lots of side by side action. Lots of excitement on track including a last lap pass for the win on Friday night in Spec Sprint action and a battle up front in traffic for the 360s. With a $10 front gate, it was well worth the price of admission for any fan.

Maybe so, but are they still charging a ridiculous $50 for pit passes?

Dunno, but the car (finished in back half of Spec Sprints both nights) got $120 per night, which was more than the entry for sure.

yes it did pay out more but it was 80.00 to go through the back gate, let alone all the tires everyone burned up. tons of moisture in the air, no reason for the track to be rubbered up. none of the officials knew what the other was doing, and they had no clue how to line up a race. the racing was decent and shoudl be and could be a great event in the future but alot of work needs to be done behind the scenes.

120 bucks would not pay the methanol bill. Don't act like that was charity
